Lanvin boutique, off Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré.
When it comes to advertising, the French have un bon sense de l'humour, and sex is not taboo. I love that about the culture. If this window display were in any city in America, there would surely be complaints. In Paris, nobody cares. They have a nice chuckle and continue on their way, perhaps thinking about the fun they could be having if only they could afford those Lanvin heels.

Ils auraient pu changer le nom en LOVIN...

I love that about french advertising too. They are right when they say Americans are puritans. Last year I saw a billboard ad campaign for a department store. It said "Notre pointe G est dans le penderie" (our G-spot is in the closet). I couldn't stop laughing and wondered what would happen if that billboard was posted in the U.S.!

That is hilarious!
It would be nice if American advertising could loosen up a bit without risking incessant complaints and lawsuits ...
