First I'd like to preface this comment by saying that I was introduced to this blog by my French professor.

I've now lived in Paris for nearly 2 months, I'm doing my junior year in Paris, and les toilettes in France are definitely something to get used to-or at least try. This plagues me everyday. I'm always quite disappointed by the toilettes in nearly every establishment.

Coming from the states, where I would generally judge an establishment on the quality of their facilities, I find Parisian business all too unequipped.

To the point, I'm glad Gaëlle was able to shed some light on this travesty. Her theory makes complete sense. Thanks for the info!

Thanks for the comment, Jonathan. And if you find "un WC" that is perfectly clean and equipped in Paris, let me know! — J.A. Getzlaff
